Interested in Earning Research Credit?


The University of Maryland Exercise for Brain Health (E4BH) Laboratory directed by Dr. J. Carson Smith is seeking to hire part-time Research Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who would like to pursue a career working with older adults in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or other physical activity settings.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Instruction and supervision of small group classes
  • Physiological (i.e. heart rate) data collection
  • Reliable documentation of class attendance and participant information
Part-time instructors will be responsible for leading our community-based exercise training intervention with older adults in the MD/DC Metro Area. Exercise classes will take place approximately four days per week in the morning and/or early afternoon hours.
