JOB OVERVIEW:
The Research Coordinator provides assistance to the Principal Investigator and Study Team coordinating research activities that may include recruiting research participants, data collection and management and other research activities as assigned.
This position will support Musculoskeletal Injury Rehabilitation Research for Operational Readiness (MIRROR), which provides critical infrastructure, operational and research support to advance the treatment and preventive care for service members with non-combat related musculoskeletal injuries. The Research Coordinator will support the Department of Orthopaedics and/or the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required (Strongly desired coursework/degree obtained in the following: Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Orthopaedics, Physical Medicine)
- Coursework or direct practical experience in Human Anatomy & Physiology required
- 2-4 years experience in clinical research preferred
- 2-4 years non-profit, research, or healthcare experience desired
- Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required
