PT Tech/Aide Hiring in Columbia, MD

Position: Physical Therapy Tech/Aide

Sports Medicine / Outpatient Orthopedic physical therapy clinic located in Columbia, MD is currently seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Aide/Technician who will work under the direct supervision of licensed physical therapists. Flexible hours ranging from 6am-8pm.

Main responsibilities include:

• assisting patients with exercises
• preparing patients and treatment rooms for use of modalities (electrical stimulation, ultrasound, heat/ice, etc.)
• maintaining cleanliness of the facility

Looking to hire 2-3 colleges student who are interested in eventually being a PT, OT, PA or doctor. This is a great way to get experience, exposure and shadow hours required for Grad School or Med School AND get paid for your time.

Our Laurel, MD outpatient physical therapy location is looking to hire part time morning/afternoon/evening techs. Applicants must be outgoing, organized, professional, compassionate, conscientious, and able to multi-task.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• assisting physical therapists with non-clinic

• al tasks while caring for individuals

• prepare treatment rooms

• keep treatment areas organized and clean

• welcome patients

• assist patients with light exercises and record progress for therapists

• answering phones/administrative support

• assist in moving patients from room to room
